You cannot experience or tour the food sample making at the Koshigaya Manufacturing Department.
At the main store showroom in Asakusa, Tokyo, we talk about food samples, jobs and occupations.
It takes about 1 hour to 1 hour and 30 minutes.

About acceptance of students

Salmon roe bowl: 3,630 yen (basic price + parts fee + 10% tax included)
Contents: Perilla, wasabi, salmon roe + basic fee

Tendon 5,500 yen (basic price + parts fee + 10% tax included)
Contents: 2 shrimp tempura, squid tempura, shishito tempura + basic fee

Tendon: 6,600 yen (basic price + parts + 10% tax included)
Contents: Shrimp tempura, squid tempura, eggplant tempura, shishito tempura, pumpkin tempura, shiitake tempura + basic fee

Top Chirashi Donburi 8,800 yen (basic price + parts fee + 10% consumption tax included)
Contents: Perilla leaf, tamagoyaki (Japanese omelette), tuna, squid, wasabi, shrimp, two slices of cucumber, salmon roe, salmon, conger eel, yellowtail, sea urchin + basic fee

The other day, I went to Sato Sample in Kappabashi, Asakusa, and experienced making food samples, which is a new initiative being considered for inbound tourists!
I got an A in art in middle school and have little talent for cooking or plating, but for some reason I decided to attempt the most difficult challenge: tempura bowl.
While a first grade elementary school girl in front of me was finishing up an incredibly stylish seafood bowl, I fought until the very end to recreate the extremely popular shrimp tempura bowl from the place where I worked part-time in high school, focusing on how to express the shrimp in a three-dimensional way that would fall over if you let your guard down.
Another untapped talent has blossomed, as his skill at spreading sauce deliciously.
It can be enjoyed by both children and adults (in fact, some say that children are better at it), and Mr. Sato will teach you everything, so you can learn professional techniques and knowledge. I'm looking forward to seeing it programmed!
I'm very happy with the results, which are not bad compared to my experience, so I've put it in a place where I can see it during online meetings 🙆‍♀️

Make a miniature tempura bowl at Sato Sample in Kappabashi!
